Queer Network Amsterdam (2021-2023)
About: Queer Network Amsterdam is a solidarity network of Amsterdam based LGBTIQ+ organisations, grassroots initiatives and individuals. The core of the network is to bring the stories of LGBTIQ+ black people, people of colour and trans people to the forefront. Queer Network Amsterdam consists of 23 organisations who strive for a structurally more diverse and inclusive Amsterdam. The network strongly believes that the visibility of sexual diversity should not be limited to only Pride week, but 365 days a year.
Our role: In this project we are the lead applicant, which includes the responsibility of reporting and financial administration towards the donor. Stichting art.1 developed the handbook for sub-granting and is responsible for re-granting sub-grants to 22 other civil society organisations within the network. Additionally, Stichting art.1 leads the meetings and plays a key role in network development as well as in facilitating the eco-system for capacity building within the network.
