About: As a cultural institution with a presentation or stage function, we will organize numerous workshops for local amateurs in 2024 and 2025 and structurally involve them in creating art. In collaboration with Lavender, Stichting Queer Haarlem and Nieuwe Vide, we offer workshops in film programming, drag performance, poster campaign creation, zine creation, podcast and artivism. The method we implement is aimed at: first reaching new groups, getting to know them, also learning from them what they want and how, and then guiding them in programming themselves – from direction to execution. In this way, we learn from each other, so that ultimately, on an equal footing, we can fully utilize the stage – until MeeMaken is in the DNA of the entire organization.

Role of Stichting art.1: organizing and facilitating workshops and guiding young people who are starting in cultural participation. We focus in particular on giving workshops and meetings around podcast, film programming and artivism.
