International Queer & Migrant Film Festival

About: Stichting art.1 initiated the International Queer & Migrant Film Festival (IQMF) in Amsterdam in 2015 and organized 7th edition in 2022. IQMF is a film festival with internationally acclaimed films with a strong focus on films on the intersections of sexual diversity in relation to migrants and migrant communities. The festival grew into a multi-disciplinary platform with film, debate, theatre, literature and art exhibitions. From 2015 until now we curated film program at film festivals in Buenos Aires, Tokyo, Berlin, Copenhagen, Oslo, Athens, Tunis, Istanbul. IQMF saw off spring festivals in the Western Balkans, Azerbaijan and other parts of the world and it is a frequent guest of acclaimed film festivals such as Berlinale. Founder Chris Belloni took part in juries at film festivals such as Teddy Award Berlinale (2020), PriFest (2021), Humans of Film Festival (2022).
